Handmade applique machine embroidered koala bear cushion.
 
I am donating 50% of every cushion that is sold to the WWF - Australian Wildlife and Nature Recovery Fund. I spent 6 1/2 years in Australia as a child so this is very close to my heart.
 
I have handmade these cushions using sturdy cream cotton fabric with Laura Ashley fabric in sage green and pale blue. The koala design is machine embroidered with appliqué. The koala has been made from grey fleece and white faux fur and black felt for the nose. Grosgrain ribbon and nylon square ribbon for added emphasis.
 
Zip closure to the bottom to finish. The cushions measure 16 inches by 16 inches.
