The first half of this year has been trying and for many very tragic.
As the UK went into lockdown with so many being furloughed including my niece who had to self isolate from the beginning of March as she was pregnant with her first baby which is due around 2nd August 2020.
Covid-19 has ruined what should have been a wonderful time for her. Her baby shower was cancelled and she could only arrange a virtual baby shower with no family or friends to be there with her to share her joyous occasion.
To try and help cheer my niece up I made her a baby bundle as a shower gift. The bundle included a cushion, bib and a burp pad. As my niece didn’t want to know the sex of the baby, her bundle was made in neutral colours. Once the baby is born I will be making personalised gifts for her which will be wonderful keepsakes for the new parents.
