Be a flamingo in a flock of pigeons!
What an accessory to have if you are going on holiday, on the beach or if you are out shopping. 
I have machine embroidered the flamingoes and they are approximately 5 inches tall.  The tote has been handmade using strong cotton canvas fabric. The back of the bag is plain.
I have lined the bag using Laura Ashley cotton polyester fabric in cream with small pretty flowers.
I have added two good sized pockets to the front of the tote bag utilising the pink and black fabrics.
The bag measures 15 inches wide by 18 inches in height and has black herringbone tape for the handles.

Young flamingos hatch with grayish-red plumage, but adults range from light pink to bright red due to aqueous bacteria and beta-carotene obtained from their food supply.
 
A well-fed, healthy flamingo is more vibrantly coloured, thus a more desirable mate; a white or pale flamingo, however, is usually unhealthy or malnourished.
 
Captive flamingos are a notable exception; they may turn a pale pink if they are not fed carotene at levels comparable to the wild
